A place to live and grow in faith in Wellington City
Young adults often come to Wellington for education and work. Since the 1940s Wellington Central Baptist has prioritised creating a safe place to live, experience flatting, grow in faith and make new friends.
Central House offers places for 27 young adults in five self-contained apartments. It is close to all major educational institutions, located in the heart of Wellington and across the road from Wellington Central Baptist.
Each resident has a single room. Each flat is responsible for their day-to-day living arrangements e.g. food shopping, cooking and cleaning. The apartments are located on top of an inner city car park building and has good security. They are all fully furnished and each contains an equipped kitchen, lounge and dining facilities. There is a shared laundry with washing machines and dryers. Central House has two managers Kate and Josh who live on site to provide pastoral care to residents, encourage community life and faith building at Central House.
